Mark Dennison is our principal security consultant and is a senior IT Security practitioner, specializing in the provision of threat and risk assessments (TRAs), certification and accreditation (C&A), security testing frameworks, critical infrastructure protection, security program MITS compliance and cyber protection services for the Canadian federal government. Mark has led over 30 TRAs in financial services, critical infrastructure, transportation, health care, food, safety and government services. He is a national specialist in IT Security Threat Risk Assessments and is an invited lecturer on this subject. Mr. Dennison has held senior executive IT Security positions at Helm’s Deep Consulting, BearingPoint, KPMG Consulting and CGI. Mr. Dennison is approved as a Senior Project Manager under CSE’s CPSA Supply Arrangement. Mark has provided IT Security consulting advice and directed over 250 engagements in the areas of TRAs, C&A, MITS compliance, critical infrastructure protection, national sectoral studies, cyber protection, certification and accreditation, security program review, security strategy development, security policy development and compliance, risk assessment, vulnerability assessment, security infrastructure, and security architecture design.
